The Loyola University Museum of Art (LUMA) at Loyola University Chicago, opened in 2005 with the unique mission of “exploring the spiritual in art” so as to advance the understanding and appreciation of the creative spirit. Affirming our University community’s great diversity, LUMA seeks through its exhibitions and programs to investigate the commonalities all faith share and to visually reinforce the Jesuit ideal of “finding God in all things.”
